About
Who is Voices of Opposition? Well, officially we are Voices of Opposition to War, Racism and Oppression.
We are centered here in Tucson, Arizona, and our core group of eight or so people organise a political film and lecture series here at the University of Arizona. Hopefully at some point we will branch out to reach Pima Community College and the rest of the community.
Every Tuesday during the fall and spring semesters, in an effort to present the public with an alternative to the standard media outlets, we present free socially conscious political films and lectures that address the issues that all of us face from day to day, but which our 'leaders' can't seem to solve, our media just doesn't seem to cover, and no one seems to analyze as a symptom of a larger problem.
